Hope

"Hope is a mighty powerful force. One of its great attributes is that it needs little feeding. Providing you give it a sneaky peek at what could be possible every so often, you can trust that hope will keep you going through some very dark times."

All revolutions start small, right?

Today, I would like to start one. Let's call it Photo Quotes. A few months ago, my good friend, David Angell began posting photographs to his Instagram page and would include a famous person's quote. Now, I'm a sucker for a good quote (is that a quote in itself?!), so thoroughly enjoyed reading these each day. I'm also a fan of the written word, and like to think of myself (probably wrongly!) as a bit of a poet. So, I decided to take this one step further by creating my own quotes.

Here comes to the science, and I want you to join in! Take a photograph and post to your social media page, but create your own quote. Sound OK? Goood internet.

I've been doing this for a couple of weeks now and will keep posting to this blog, as well as my social media pages! So, to all who read this, I encourage you to join the revolution, using the #photoquotes hashtag. Use your eyes and your beautiful mind to see the world as a blank canvas on which to paint the words spoken from your heart.

Well come on then people. I've been expecting you.

Neurons

"As the neurons in our minds carry our souls, the rail tracks carry our bodies."

Perspective

"A failure to recognise that we each have our own perspectives on life shall lead you to a life of bitterness and loneliness:but then that's just mine"

"To get to where you want to get to may sometimes require methods not felt to be the obvious ones; but these methods may bring more joy"

"You can always go higher than was once thought possible."

"The course of evolution shall continue whether we like it or not. So important it is that we invest in our hearts and minds for not doing so will jeapordise our role in this process."

An enduring spirit

"Throughout history, Londoners have seen the worst in humanity. They have faced the Blitz, the IRA and Al-Qaeda. Yet what remains is the enduring spirit to open their arms to all visitors and rejoice in all they bring to this great city."
